Classic Car Marketing, Inc. Southern California’s premier marketing company is pleased to introduce this new listing offered for sale by one of our clients. Hold on to your hats again custom collectors! This incredible 1954 Chevy has been modified using every trick in the book to recreate this simply stunning tribute to the famous “50s” kustom show car…The “Moonglow”. All the classic customizing techniques were used in the new version with over 6000 hours, dozens of body mods, and over 12 years to build. The original rust free car was built in Canada by an artisan who built limos for the Queen of England where all work was done using an English wheel and power hammer, then filled with lead to create the many curves and custom body work. This car has been chopped, nosed, decked, frenched, shaved, and at appraisal was stated in number “1” condition in every area, with the detail work bordering on perfection. This car was built to show every curve with seamless flow and true presence, and that it does from every angle. The paint is simply stunning and was etched, primed, block sanded with every coat so the bright pearl blue shines as deep as the Carribean sea. Set on air ride, only the finest components were used throughout the entire build and no expense was spared. Through masterful planning and quality design execution this car has succeeded in becoming an incredible form of art. All period high performance and dress up pieces were used to make this one-of-a-kind engine. Powered by a well documented, professionally rebuilt 261 cu inch Chevy engine with dual Holley Weber 2 barrel carbs and Offenhauser manifold with a split Fenton exhaust manifold balanced and blueprinted with a high compression GM factory head and a “Torquey” cam design to run with a 700R transmission. The rear window was made with a custom mold since the window was widened to move it forward for the correct roof line appearance. Interior is snow white full roll and pleat with royal blue carpet to match the paint. Inside you will also find Vintage Air and power steering, very nice touches. She has not been driven since completed. Appraised at $250,000. Asking $179,000. Interesting trades may be considered.
