1958 Chevrolet Yeomen Wagon This is a stunning frame off restoration on a 1958 chevy yeomen wagon from oregon. The history is as follows owned by an old lady in oregon until 1992, she gave it to her son who drove it for 1 year. He sold it in original condition with 86,000 miles to a father and son in northern Idaho who had it professionally created into what it is today. They spent over $60,000 during a three year restoration to creat this resto-mod wagon, that was completed in 2003. I the current owner purchased it from norther idaho in the spring of 2007 had it shipped to ohio in an enclosed trailer. It had just over 5,000 miles when i purchased it. I have added my personal touch to this beautiflu wagon, won many awards, most recently, it won a Mequiars Magnificent Masterpeice Award at Indianapolis Goodguys 2008. This wagon is in show condition and gets attention wherever it goes. It currently has 8,400 miles now for the details of this one of a kind 1958 wagon loovered hood, shaved door handles on rear doors with remote door popppers. Rear bumper has been modified for duel exhaust to exit out back of bumper. The rest of exterior is stock 1958. This wagon is lowered with 2 inch drop spindles on front and shortend coil springs in the back. Custom made stainless steel gas tank, power steering, front disk brakes with wildwood power brake booster. It rides on 18 inch budnick wheels with brushed highlights, cost over $3000.00. New wheels and tires were added in spring 2008 and have less than 1500 miles on them. These budnick wheels took the looks of this wagon to the next level. Engine is a 283 v-8 that was professionally rebuilt. Edelbrock intake, 4 barrel edelbrock carb, engin block was painted black, firewall has been smoothed flat. Many other aluminum parts added to engine to give that clean dress up look without going too far. Completly rebuilt 350 turbo automatic transmission, Lokar floor shifter, Vintage air blows ice cold, Alpine cd radio that will rock. Interior is tastefully done in white with black roping, black plush carpet, custom made floor mats, custom made gauge cluster with speedometer, oil pressure, temp gauge, fuel gauge. Underbody of wagon was completly painted black and detailed to a nice clean look. Suspension parts are all new as well. Exterior of this wagon will grab your attention with a white top and black on bottom. Paint is in excellent conditon, slick and very straight. Smooth as glass no orange peel, exceptional condition All new glass with smoke tint, new rubber strips, chrome and stainless in excellent condition. This wagon drives great and solid, very dependable, a true joy to drive. I have been to several shows this summer over two hours from home with no problems.
